Job Description: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Vadodara

Industry: Manufacturing

Reports to: Director

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our

dynamic manufacturing organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive

leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, developing strategies for

sustainable growth, and ensuring the financial health of the company. This position requires a

strong leader with extensive financial expertise, particularly within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Strategy:

o Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s

business objectives.

o Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based

on financial analysis and projections.

o Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including

budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

o Drive the financial strategy for capital allocation, investments, and resource

optimization.

2. Operational Finance:

o Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, treasury,

tax, risk management, and auditing.

o Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with local and

international regulations, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards.

o Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall

liquidity to support business operations and growth.

o Manage cost control initiatives, margin improvement programs, and financial

efficiencies in manufacturing operations.

3. Risk Management & Compliance:

o Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and

ensure compliance with financial regulations.

o Lead risk management initiatives to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential

financial risks.

o Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, government policies, and financial

reporting requirements.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

o Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and

performance.

o Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance

department.

o Work cross-functionally with other departments to support overall business

objectives and operational efficiency.

5. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:

o Act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and other members of the

executive team, providing financial insights and advice on key business

decisions.

o Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors,

auditors, and regulatory bodies.

o Participate in board meetings and contribute to the overall corporate

governance and strategy formulation.

Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;

MBA or advanced degree preferred.

 Certifications: CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred.

 Experience:

o Minimum of 10-15 years of financial management experience, with at least 5

years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, etc.).

o Extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, with a deep understanding

of cost structures, inventory management, and supply chain financials.

 Skills:

o Strong leadership and people management skills.

o Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.

o Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (Tally, Excel, Google Sheets

etc.).

o Ability to manage complex financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
