Job Summary:
A Senior Vendor Manager for interior design is responsible for working with vendors to ensure a reliable supply of high-quality products and services, and for maintaining good relationships with vendors
- Vendor selection: Determine which vendors are best suited to the company's needs, and consider factors like their facilities, reach, and location.
- Negotiating contracts: Negotiate contracts to get the desired pricing
- Maintaining relationships: Maintain good relationships with vendors throughout the company's use of their products and services.
- Communicating with vendors: Communicate with vendors to ask questions about products or prices.
- Inspecting products: Visit vendors to inspect their products.
- Analysing vendors: Analyse multiple vendors to decide which to use for a particular product.
- Providing leadership: Provide leadership over purchasing agents and buyers.
- Mediating: Ensure harmonious ties between the company and its vendors.
- Planning: Determine how suppliers can integrate with the company's objectives.
- Cost controls: Use increased visibility to control costs, and negotiate rates rationally.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or related field.
- 6 years of experience in interior finishing both commercial and home interior
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
