Job Summary:

Spring Mount Institutions is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Kindergarten Teacher to join our early education team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning through play, creativity, and exploration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a dynamic curriculum designed to support the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth of kindergarten students.
• Teach core subjects such as language, basic math, art, and physical education through engaging, interactive activities.
• Establish routines, manage behavior, and create a positive, community-focused classroom environment.
• Monitor individual student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Organize resources and learning materials that promote hands-on learning and exploration.
• Prepare activities that support learning through practical experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress, development, and any concerns.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students by maintaining a clean, organized classroom.
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings, prepare progress reports, and participate in workshops.
• Attend school events, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, B.Ed., or an equivalent qualification.
• Montessori or Nursery Training Certificate is an advantage.
• 2-3 years of experience teaching kindergarten or in early childhood education.
• Patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills to interact with young children.
• Proficiency in child development and teaching methodologies suited to this age group.
• Commitment to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment that fosters children's growth and learning.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of play-based learning and modern teaching techniques.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
