Job Overview

Essential Functions

• Collaborating with peers to design, install, configure, optimize, administer, and 

support Microsoft Cloud Technologies

• Act as a liaison between the Server Engineering and Information Security 

Teams to support security initiatives and implementation of defined policies

• Interact with vendors for quotes, support, new technologies, and vendor 

relationship tasks.

• Document Standard Operating Procedures for the team to follow and share 

ideas and concepts with technology leaders on best practices and server 

policies.

• Maintain and communicate project plan and status updates proactively.

• Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of technical experience in an IT operations role.

• 3 Years of Microsoft Azure cloud operations experience

• Understanding of Azure Access control (IAM) and role-based access.

• Advanced working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory/Azure 

AD.

• Experience working with Azure storage - Blobs and Files.

• Skilled with Cloud-based Networking concepts.

• Familiarity with command line tools such as PowerShell, AZCli or kubectl.

• Understanding of monitoring in Azure - Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, etc.

• Extremely motivated with a strong desire to deliver consistent & exceptional 

results in an exciting and growing company.

• Candidate should be accustomed to the concepts of “Sense of Urgency”, “Duty 

to Communicate,” and “Accountability”.

• Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively 

in both written and oral communication.

• The ability to see the “big picture” and scope requirements to the 

organization's direction.

Preferred Skills & Education

• AZ-500 Certification or other related certifications

• Experience with Microsoft Defender: Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud 

Apps, Vulnerability Management

• Experience managing a hybrid cloud environment.

• Advanced with PowerShell scripting experience a plus.
