Job Overview

Spandana Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Emergency Medical Physician to join our team at our Bengaluru location. This position is suited for a fresher with 0 to 1 year of work experience. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing emergency and critical care situations, ensuring the highest standard of care to our patients.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in trauma management (Mandatory skill) to promptly assess and administer treatment for traumatic injuries.
• Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) (Mandatory skill) to ensure comprehensive and organized emergency care for trauma patients.
• Hands-on experience with emergency procedures (Mandatory skill) to effectively manage critical and unforeseen medical situations.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medicine to quickly and accurately diagnose and treat acute conditions.
• Critical care expertise to handle life-threatening medical conditions and provide intensive medical care.
• Ability to perform advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) to manage acute coronary syndromes and other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
• Familiarity with pediatric advanced life support (PALS) protocols to cater to critically ill infants and children.
• Competence in patient triage to prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition for effective treatment allocation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of emergency medical conditions.
• Perform and oversee emergency medical procedures including intubation, resuscitation, and stabilization of acute conditions.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity for critically ill or injured patients.
• Administer first line and long-term treatment plans based on trauma assessment and triage outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, documenting patient care activities and clinical findings.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with advances in emergency medicine.
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and emergency procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
