Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting operations, including Tally ERP 9, cost center management, bank reconciliation, purchase entries, inventory vouchers, and journal entries. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the finalization of accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP 9.
2. Oversee cost center management and allocation.
3. Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
4. Record and reconcile purchase entries accurately.
5. Handle inventory vouchers and maintain accurate inventory records.
6. Prepare and post journal entries as required.
7. Assist in the finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
9. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed.
10. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.



Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting.
3. Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and other accounting software.
4. Strong understanding of cost center management, bank reconciliation, and inventory management.
5. Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
9. Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and VAT laws preferred.
