Job Overview


We are looking for a talented and experienced South Indian Chef to join our clients . As a South Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian dishes, ensuring the highest quality standards are met. This is a senior-level position requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience as a South Indian Chef with 7 to 10 years of experience in a senior role
  • In-depth knowledge of traditional South Indian cooking techniques and recipes
  • Ability to create, innovate, and develop new South Indian dishes
  • Strong understanding of flavor combinations, textures, and presentation in South Indian cuisine
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle kitchen equipment
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, vadas, sambar, and chutneys, according to traditional recipes and standards
  • Develop and create new South Indian dishes that are innovative and appealing to our customers
  • Ensure the highest quality and taste of all South Indian dishes served
  • Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff in South Indian cooking techniques
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients and spices
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to plan and execute menus
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into South Indian cuisine
  • Handle customer inquiries and special requests related to South Indian dishes
