Job Overview

Soni And Soni is looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position that requires 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. As a Junior System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth network operations, and providing technical support to ensure the consistent performance of our systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in network administration (Mandatory skill)
• Experience in server management (Mandatory skill)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues (Mandatory skill)
• Knowledge in security management to safeguard IT infrastructure
• Experience in backup and recovery solutions to ensure data protection and recovery in case of failures
• Ability to script using languages such as PowerShell to automate tasks and enhance system processes
• Experience with virtualization technologies to optimize hardware resources
• Proficiency in hardware maintenance to ensure the longevity and performance of IT equipment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
• Develop and document system configurations, including hardware and software setups
• Automate routine tasks using scripts to improve efficiency and system performance
• Monitor the performance of network and computer systems and make adjustments as needed
• Advise on and perform hardware maintenance, including the installation, modification, and repair of computing devices
