Job Description - Merchandiser Retail

Key Responsibilities:

1. Merchandising Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement seasonal and long-term merchandising strategies aligned with company goals.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.

1. Product Development:

• Collaborate with the design and production teams to create collections that meet market demands and brand aesthetics.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines throughout the product lifecycle.

1. Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs and efficiency.

1. Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory turnover.
• Analyze sales data to identify bestsellers, slow-moving products, and opportunities for improvement.

1. Cost Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets for each collection or product line.
• Ensure cost-effective production without compromising quality or timelines.

1. Team Coordination:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to product launches and campaigns.

1. Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Salary – 60-70 k per month

Location - Gurgaon

Communication skills – Good English communication skills required.
