CPU, Memory monitoring

Disk management - creating partitions for the different types of servers

Disk space management for OS partition(s)

System log file management

User account management

Incident / Problem/ Request Fulfilment / Change management

Review of daily/weekly/monthly checklist

Event log analysis at regular interval for maintaining the integrity of servers

Repeat Incident/Alert Analysis

Managing/reconfiguring of DHCP scopes and reservations

Managing/reconfiguring of DNS/System State backup

Perform System administration activities (e.g., active directory, End User account set-up and management, perform access control, manage files and disk space)

Managing/reconfiguring terminal services, cluster services, file servers

Preparation of MIR and RCA for Major Incidents

Reinstallations as required

Vendor coordination

Repeat Incident/Alert Analysis

Performance tuning, as suggested by OEM

Updating and maintenance of Availability, Capacity management

Risk Analysis and mitigation planning

Continual Service Improvement Planning and executions

Planning and execution of DR Drills based on availability of DR setup and recovery procedures

Daily, weekly and monthly checklist for all windows servers, proxy and Filer

Microsoft Windows Operating system(Std./Ent./Adv) and Microsoft Windows applications installation

Installation of IIS, , Microsoft Virtual server

Administration of, IIS, and Microsoft Virtual server

Configuration and troubleshooting of IIS, , and Microsoft Virtual servers

Ensuring regular server backup and restoration as required.

Server Anti-Virus Management

Installation and configuration of IIS URL scan tool

Integration with monitoring tool for proactive monitoring and alert notification

Installation, configuration and monitoring of Microsoft Clusters

Hardening of Windows OS

Hardening of IIS

Windows OS Patch management 

Installation of Windows Service packs 

Installation of Exchange Service pack 

Installation of Windows Security patches

Operational procedure documents for windows servers and related windows application - Checklist Creation and maintenance

Backup and restoration of Windows OS through Veritas NetBackup and NetBackup

WMI, VB scripts for possible automation of administration activity on Windows
