Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our team at Smiligence. This is a Junior-level, full-time position based in Madurai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB (Mandatory skill)
• Strong understanding of and experience with Express.js
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript and its core concepts
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS for designing web interfaces
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications
• Familiarity with Git for version control
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using the MERN stack.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers and designers to implement features and optimizations.
• Integrate RESTful APIs into applications and ensure seamless functionality.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code according to industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the applications.
• Contribute to all phases of the development cycle, including planning, design, implementation, and deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies to remain competitive in the field.
