Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Laravel Developer to join our team at Smiligence. This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Madurai. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience and will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in PHP with a strong understanding of its fully synchronous behavior (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in developing applications using the Laravel framework (Mandatory skill).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL database management (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring they meet performance and usability standards.
• Understanding of MVC Architecture and how it is implemented in Laravel.
• Basic proficiency in JavaScript, with focus on developing interactive front-end features.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS to ensure applications maintain responsive and adaptive layouts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy new web applications using the Laravel framework.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design and implement high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and resolve issues.
• Ensure the best possible performance and security for web applications.
• Stay updated with current and future web technologies, trends, and standards in software development.
