Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Account Assistant to join our team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the field. The successful candidate will assist in managing financial transactions and contribute to our accounting team's continuous growth and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in accounts payable processing, including ensuring timely and accurate payment delivery.
- Effective handling of accounts receivable, ensuring proper tracking and resolution of outstanding payments.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and concise interactions with team members and external stakeholders.
- Experience in invoicing processes, ensuring accurate and timely issuance and maintenance of financial records.
- Capability to compile financial reports, assisting in the preparation of detailed financial statements and analysis.
- Adept at data entry, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency in recording financial transactions.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel for managing data and generating reports with advanced functions.
- Efficient in follow-up processes for payments, ensuring timely collections and reconciliations of accounts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and process financial transactions accurately and efficiently in the accounting system.
- Support the accounts payable function, ensuring vendors are paid timely and discrepancies are resolved swiftly.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable, tracking outstanding balances, and initiating collections when necessary.
- Prepare invoices, ensuring accurate billing and timely delivery to clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and maintain financial reports and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Perform data entry tasks, maintaining records in accordance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency and accuracy in reported figures.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to resolve accounting discrepancies and provide financial support.
