Position: Dryer Operator & Shredder Operator

Job Summary:

The Dryer Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial drying equipment used in the production process. The operator will ensure that the drying process runs efficiently, adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate industrial dryers according to standard operating procedures.
2. Monitor temperature, humidity, and other relevant parameters during the drying process.
3. Adjust dryer settings as necessary to maintain optimal drying conditions.
4. Load and unload materials into the dryer, ensuring proper handling and care.
5. Conduct regular inspections of the equipment to identify and report any mechanical issues.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks and cleaning of the dryer to keep it in good working condition.
7. Comply with safety regulations and follow proper safety procedures at all times.
8. Record and maintain production data and relevant process information.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production flow.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve any operational problems that may arise during the drying process.
11. Operate shredding machines and equipment following established procedures.
12. Feed documents or materials into the shredder, ensuring a smooth and continuous operation.
13. Monitor the shredding process to avoid jams and interruptions.
14. Maintain and clean the shredding machine regularly to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
15. Sort and separate shredded materials for proper disposal or recycling.
16. Comply with company policies and regulations regarding the handling of sensitive or confidential information.
17. Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during work.
18. Maintain records of shredded materials and disposal activities.
19. Assist with other tasks as directed by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating industrial drying equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of basic machinery operation and mechanical principles.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
