Job Overview

We are looking for a fresher to join our team as a Test Automation Engineer. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for programming and testing, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks to ensure quality and reliability in our products. Work experience required for this position is between 0 to 1 years.

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# to develop and maintain test scripts
• Experience or coursework in developing and maintaining test frameworks for automated testing
• Familiarity with scripting languages like JavaScript, Perl, or Shell scripting
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git for maintaining test scripts and collaboration
• Basic understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify, track, and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Analytical thinking with a detail-oriented approach to identify bugs and inconsistencies

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure product reliability and quality
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and objectives
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and maintainable test scripts
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results for efficient identification of issues
• Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to streamline the testing process
• Report and document test results, defects, and recommendations for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
