Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Smart Enovations India Pvt Ltd. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive die design and will be responsible for developing innovative design solutions using tools like Catia and SOLIDWORKS. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outcomes while adhering to project deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in die design, including progressive and tandem die design capabilities.
• Proficiency in using Catia for 3D modeling and design purposes.
• Extensive knowledge of SOLIDWORKS software for engineering and design tasks.
• Expertise in sheet metal design and automotive die applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to create cost-effective design solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing detailed die designs, including progressive and tandem dies, for automotive applications.
• Utilize Catia and SOLIDWORKS to create and modify 3D models and engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations while optimizing for cost and manufacturability.
• Attend design reviews and technical meetings to present and discuss design concepts and progress.
• Prepare and maintain accurate design documentation and project reports.
• Identify potential design risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to current design practices and processes.
