Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Qty Surveyor to join our team at Smart Training & Sourcing Co. As a Qty Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the cost and financial aspects of construction projects. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and motivate others.
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in quantity surveying software.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates by gathering and analyzing project requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoff and prepare bills of quantities.
• Conduct site visits to gather data for cost analysis.
• Prepare and submit progress and cost reports to management.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and bids with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction process.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cost.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate cost tracking.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
