Smartco is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle-based applications. This role is located in Mumbai, and interested candidates must have relevant work experience in oracle development.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL to write efficient database queries and scripts.
• Strong experience in Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports for designing and developing robust database applications.
• Expertise in Performance Tuning to optimize database performance and ensure high reliability and availability.
• Deep understanding of Data Modeling principles to design coherent and efficient database schemas.
• Hands-on experience with Backup and Recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Experience with Oracle database upgrades and patch management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Oracle-based applications using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure database efficiency and reliability.
• Design and implement data models to meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
