Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to join our team at Smart Training & Sourcing Co. As the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of factory operations and processes
- Proven leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Knowledge of food processing industry is preferred
- Experience in managing a French Fries Factory, Meat Factory, Breakfast cereals Factory, Pasta Factory, or Frozen food production is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the manufacturing facility
- Manage and develop a team of production workers, supervisors, and other staff members
- Set production goals, monitor performance, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving and storage of raw materials and finished products
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure adherence to standards and specifications
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness
- Prepare and analyze production reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and continuous improvement
