YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for heading the Supply Chain/ Operations function and managing end to end supply chain activities i.e. optimization of operations cost, supply chain efficiency, inventory management, quality, safety, health, environment & ISO compliance in the warehouse, for Brenntag India. This is a leadership role.

• Optimize Operations cost optimization by managing warehouse operations cost, import clearance cost, inbound freight cost, manpower cost, and outbound delivery cost to customers.
• Strive to improve agility in every aspect of supply chain, including imports, and OTIF to the customers.
• Lead S&OP process, liaise with business teams to improve forecast accuracy, improve inventory turns and reduce inventory provision by following up with various business units for slow moving/non-moving stock,
• Optimize supply activities aligned with standard framework, review and approve inventory purchase requisitions, maintain stock accuracy by matching it with ERP book stocks.
• Manage approved supplier base including but not limited to supplier qualifications, performance requirements, by developing the relevant KPIs and setting-up SLA (service levels agreement) contract with key suppliers when needed
• Improve supply in cost and quality through further negotiation with the suppliers,
• Be the local Person in charge in the set-up of a regional supplier’s network, to improve our control and optimization or sourcing.
• Ensure that the standards of quality, safety, health & environment (QSHE) & ISO and regulatory compliance are strictly followed.
• Ensure regular recertification and zero non conformities during the audits.
• Coordinate with regional supply chain functions in analyzing and reporting supply chain KPIs as well as participating in regional supply chain initiatives/projects.
• Lead and coach the team to manage the team motivation and productivity.
