Job Overview
SLBS Marklance is seeking a dedicated Admission Counselor to join our team in Cochin. This is a full-time position ideal for a fresher. The role involves guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing them with detailed information about our programs, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their education and career. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in communication skills to effectively convey information to prospective students.
- Customer service experience to assist students throughout the admission process and address any queries.
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience in sales or telemarketing to engage with potential students and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.
- An understanding of our educational programs to guide students in selecting the appropriate course.
- Empathetic approach to understand the needs and aspirations of students.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and managing student profiles in our database.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide detailed information about SLBS Marklance's programs and admission procedures to prospective students.
- Assist students in the application process, including filling out forms and submitting necessary documents.
- Follow up with students and parents via phone calls to ensure they have all the information needed.
- Organize and conduct admission interviews and tours for prospective students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress in the admissions process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for attracting potential students.
- Participate in education fairs, school visits, and other recruitment events to promote SLBS Marklance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all prospective students and their families.
