1) Developing Sales Strategies: Developing sales strategies within the region aligned with the overall company's sales goals and objectives. This includes identifying market trends, analyzing customer behavior, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
2) Setting Sales Targets: Setting sales targets for the region to achieve sales goals, revenue targets, and profit margins. They ensure that the sales goals are realistic, measurable, and attainable for the sales team.
3) Managing Sales Team: They manage the sales team, and Provide coaching related to company systems & policies, training, and development support to the team to achieve their targets. They ensure the team is running smoothly, effectively, and efficiently.
4) Monitoring Sales Performance: Monitors the performance of the sales team and provides feedback and guidance to improve their performance. They ensure that the team is on track to achieve their targets and they take corrective actions when required.
5) Relationship Management: They develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers or clients within the region, including identifying and establishing new partnerships, retaining and expanding existing customer accounts, and resolving any customer-related issues or concerns.
6) Reporting and Analysis: They provide regular reporting on sales performance, analyzing sales data, and assessing the effectiveness of sales strategies. They make informed decisions based on data analytics and market trends to improve sales performance. Submitting a weekly report of the meeting conducted by their respective teams which include sales, promotions, deliveries, and payment collections to respective zonal sales manager.
7) Budget Management: They manage the sales budget for the region effectively while ensuring that all sales activities are within the allocated budget. They work with the sales team to develop sales programs and promotions that increase revenue growth while optimizing costs.
