This may involve evaluating equipment, developing new processing techniques, and conducting trials to identify the most effective methods.
5. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging food technologies, trends, and consumer preferences. Conduct research and experimentation to explore innovative ingredients, processing techniques, and packaging solutions that align with market demands and enhance product appeal.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of research findings, product specifications, formulation changes, and other relevant data. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate results, recommendations, and project updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure effective communication, coordination, and integration of product development initiatives. Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to source quality ingredients, equipment, and technologies.
8. Regulatory Support: Assist in obtaining necessary regulatory approvals and certifications for new products or modifications. Provide technical support during audits, inspections, and customer inquiries to address any concerns related to product safety, quality, or compliance.
