What is the Role of a Market Research Intern? 

Market Research Interns work for a company in an analytical capacity, researching market information and technical data to support the 

decision-making process by providing in-depth insights into the market.  

As a Market Research Intern a typical day will include: 

● Evaluate, analyze, and structure the information for use in various research 

● Develop insights that are practical and actionable  

● Deliver on a regular calendar of research deliverable - how-to guides, tools, and blogs around a specific functional area.  

● Conduct wide-ranging secondary literature searches and synthesize information to elicit key insights  

● Conduct interviews with senior executives, academics and industry experts in search of innovative ideas.  

● Closely collaborate with peers and clients  

Good to have skills: 

● Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify relevant findings.  

● Outstanding English communications skills.  

● Excellent project and time management skills.  

● Ability to locate and procure information from original sources and senior executives.  

● Ability to analyze lots of information and then be able to restructure it and create original

insights.
