Job Description: Accounting Analyst

Skydo, an Elevation Capital-backed venture, is looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will report to the Finance Lead and will be responsible for managing Skydo's finance and compliance-related activities.

Role

1. Bookkeeping: AP / AR, month-end closure of books, reconciliation, and accounting reporting to applicable GAAP
2. Taxation: Direct and indirect taxes
3. Statutory compliances: MCA, Taxation, ESI, EPF, S&E and other applicable compliances
4. Finance operations: Transaction operations, including liaising with partner Bank, account recon
5. General and Administrative: Procurement, vendor management, travel, office admin, etc.

Skills

1. Proficient knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, Direct, and Indirect Taxation
2. Strong attention to detail and good business judgment
3. Negotiation and interpersonal skills
4. Cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders

Qualification

1. CA with 2 years experience or commerce graduate with 5 years experience
2. At least 1 stint in a fast-growth startup environment is desirable
3. Hands-on in accounting, strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Location: Bangalore (in-office) Mon-Fri, with occasional travel
