Job Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Mentor - SME to join our team at SKILLOGIC®. As a Cyber Security Mentor - SME, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionals. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber security.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber security
• Strong knowledge of ethical hacking techniques and methodologies
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
• Excellent mentoring and coaching skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to continuously learn and upgrade skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionals
• Assist in the development and delivery of cyber security training programs
• Stay updated with the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
• Assess the skill levels and learning needs of mentees
• Create and deliver customized learning plans for mentees based on their specific needs
• Monitor the progress and performance of mentees and provide constructive feedback
• Guide mentees in practical hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios
• Assist in the design and implementation of cyber security projects
• Collaborate with the cyber security team to develop best practice guidelines and standards
• Conduct research and contribute to the development of cyber security knowledge resources
