Overview:

We are seeking a Solution Architect with a strong background in the healthcare domain and extensive experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and other clinical and administrative applications. As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing scalable, secure, and innovative IT solutions that meet the complex needs of healthcare organizations

Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, technical constraints, and strategic objectives. Design end-to-end solutions that align with organizational goals, leveraging best practices, standards, and emerging technologies in the healthcare domain.

Healthcare Domain Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in healthcare IT, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific regulations, standards, and workflows. Provide guidance on the selection, customization, and integration of healthcare applications and platforms.

Technical Leadership: Lead solution architecture discussions, workshops, and design reviews with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, analysts, and project managers. Drive consensus on architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

System Integration and Interoperability: Design integration frameworks and data exchange mechanisms to enable seamless interoperability between disparate healthcare systems and applications. Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.

Scalability and Performance Optimization: Architect scalable and resilient solutions capable of handling large volumes of healthcare data while maintaining high performance and availability. Implement caching strategies, load balancing, and other optimization techniques as needed.

Security and Compliance: Define and enforce security controls, encryption protocols, and access management policies to protect sensitive healthcare information. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, GDPR, and HITECH Act.

Technology Evaluation and Selection: Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the healthcare industry. Conduct proof of concept exercises and feasibility studies to assess their suitability for implementation.

Documentation and Governance: Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and design patterns. Establish governance processes and review mechanisms to ensure adherence to architectural standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect in the IT industry, with a focus on healthcare domain solutions.

· Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex IT solutions for healthcare organizations, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Health Information Exchange (HIE), and telehealth platforms.

· In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and frameworks, such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, HIPAA, and GDPR.

· Proficiency in enterprise architecture principles, including service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud-native architectures.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

· Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are a plus.
