Job Description: Bid Analyst

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bid Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough bid research, identifying potential bidding opportunities, and sourcing bids from various platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent research skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Bid Research:

· Conduct in-depth research to identify bidding opportunities in targeted industries and sectors, preferably in US Federal, State and Local agencies.

· Monitor online platforms, government portals, and industry publications for new bid announcements and procurement opportunities.

· Analyze bid documents, specifications, and requirements to assess feasibility and alignment with company capabilities.

2. Bid Sourcing:

· Source bids from multiple channels, including government portals, online marketplaces, and industry associations.

· Build and maintain a database of bid opportunities, including key details such as deadlines, requirements, and contacts.

· Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documents for bid submissions.

3. Bid Qualification:

· Evaluate bid opportunities based on criteria such as project scope, budget, timeline, and potential for success.

· Determine bid qualification criteria and assess the company's ability to meet bid requirements.

· Communicate bid qualification findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

· Prepare and organize bid documents in accordance with bid requirements and guidelines.

· Maintain accurate records of bid activities, including bid status, outcomes, and feedback.

· Generate regular reports and metrics to track bid sourcing performance and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.

· Proven experience in bid research, bid sourcing, or procurement.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret bid documents and requirements.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and bid management software/tools.

· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

· Knowledge of US government procurement processes and regulations (preferred).
