JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR OPERATIONAL MANAGER

• Monitoring the overall Production activities on the shopfloor.
• Have good understanding of Biscuits making process.
• Responsible to oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule adjust schedules as needed
• Need to manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
• Responsible to strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
• Need to maintain with assurance that all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
• Responsible to monitors plant’s KPIs.
• Responsible to establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product

Quality or integrity.

• Responsible for day to day on shopfloor e.g., defective generation, down time analysis & solving abnormalities etc.
• Daily, weekly & monthly review of plant performance with respect set targets.
• Have good understanding of problem-solving tools like – Lean six sigma, 7QC tools, problem solving tools etc.
• Co-ordination with maintenance dept. for preventive maintenance, spares availability.
• Effective Monitoring of machine changeovers to enable the maximum usage efficiency along with packing machine utilization report.
• Effective knowledge in machine breakdown
• Maintaining Over All Hygiene of the Floor and Equipment. Metric Zero spillage on shop floor.
• Consumer complaint tracking and any related to packing for which CAPA to be maintained jointly post analyzing with Quality and Production Officer concerned.
• Monitoring & can take prompt action on Material consumption variance.
• Shopfloor training to Line in charges, supervisors.
• Prompt communication with Manufacturing team.
• Have good relationship with down the line team
