Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our team at SK Design Studio. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will be responsible for providing design and documentation assistance to architects, designers, and developers. Your services will be tailored to each project and may include concept design packages, design development packages, construction documentation assistance, and FF&E selections & specifications. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the interior design industry.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in the interior design industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and finishes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate clients to create innovative interior design concepts for residential projects
• Provide design development assistance, including 3D modeling, space planning, and material selection
• Produce detailed construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Assist in the selection and specification of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for projects
• Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation and resolve any design-related issues
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in interior design
