Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Computer Operator to join our night shift team at SJ Solutions & Infotech. As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing computer systems, ensuring smooth operations, and providing support during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Monitoring: Monitor computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance during the night shift.
2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating problems to the appropriate teams if necessary.
3. Batch Processing: Execute and monitor batch processing jobs to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
4. Communication: Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments to relay important information and escalate issues when required.
5. Documentation: Keep detailed records of system activities, errors, and resolutions for reference and future analysis.
6. Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard computer systems and sensitive data.
7. Reporting: Generate and submit reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.
8. Backup Operations: Perform routine backups of critical data to prevent data loss.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Computer Operator or in a related field.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Familiarity with batch processing and job scheduling.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Basic understanding of security protocols and data protection measures.
