Position: Quality Analyst

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Analyst with expertise in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and best practices. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing, defect identification, and resolution. The Quality Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing of software applications and systems to identify defects and ensure product quality.
2. Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
3. Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software products.
4. Identify, analyze, and report software defects and track them through to resolution using defect tracking tools.
5. Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure that defects are fixed and retested in a timely manner.
6. Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations.
7. Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard automation tools.
8. Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify and report any failures or issues.
9. Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to quality assurance and test automation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 4 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automation testing.
3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and QA processes.
4. Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
5. Experience in executing functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
6. Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
7. Solid understanding of automation testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
8. Experience in scripting languages such as Java, Python for test automation.
9. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
10. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
11. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
