Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer/Supervisor to join our team at SINCLUS. As a Mumbai-based staffing services provider, SINCLUS specializes in meeting staffing requirements for various industries, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Infrastructure, Airports, Fertilizer, and EPC. The Safety Officer/Supervisor role is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and creating a safe work environment for employees.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Safety Officer/Supervisor in a similar industry
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Strong understanding of hazardous materials and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct training sessions and deliver presentations
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety would be an advantage
• Proficient in using safety management software and tools

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational diseases
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports
• Coordinate safety training programs for employees and provide guidance on safe work practices
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, codes, and standards
• Collaborate with management and employees to develop a strong safety culture
• Maintain records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
