Job Overview

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will spearhead the adoption and integration of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 technologies within the septic packaging vertical of our organisation.. This executive role will focus on driving innovation and operational excellence through cutting-edge IT and automation solutions. The positon will be based out of Shanghai, China.

Key Responsibilities

1. Define and lead the company's technology strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
2. Responsible for decomposing digital strategy into digital projects, managing budgets and resources, and making priority decisions.
3. Oversee the development and deployment of smart manufacturing systems, including IoT, AI, robotics, and bigdata analytics.
4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across all technological fronts.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and capitalize on new technological opportunities.
6. Ensure the security and integrity of all IT and automation systems.
7. Mentor and develop a high-performing IT and automation team. 

Qualifications &Skill Needs

1. Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated success in implementing Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives.
4. Strong understanding of automation platforms like SCADA.
5. Strong business acumen with the ability to make decisions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
6. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
