We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Purchase Engineer to join our team at SRM Group. As a Purchase Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the construction projects, manage procurement process and follow up with the vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods for the upcoming projects.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience in procurement and sourcing
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Roles and Responsibilities

• Purchase Management
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies to meet the company need.
• Vendor Management
• Identify reliable suppliers and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Material Management
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery time
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
• Monitor market trends and research new products and suppliers
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchase & procurement transactions.
• Track and report key procurement metrics to management.
