- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST API, CI/CD
- Certifications and demonstrated in-depth knowledge of Java
- Quarkus framework and microservices knowledge is good to have
- Strong Java and IT skills such as Service Oriented Architecture/ Web services - REST Markup Language like XML and JSON experience with JIRA, SonarQube, Fortify, Jenkins and GIT
- Familiar with the latest open-source development in your area of expertise
- Familiar with Cloud development, preferably Azure.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders to articulate technical issues, present options and recommend solutions
- Driving the quality and performance of our code
- Architectural understanding, ability to learn new technical concepts fast
- Skills to grow the Java development community
- Highly desirable: Knowledge of agile methods and processes
