We have requirements with one of our clients for Nodejs Microservices backend developers for one of our US Client project.

Role    : Sr. Developer, Microservices(3 Positions still open)

Job Description & Requirements :

3-4 years of experience building RESTful APIs sing NodeJS/ TypeScript/ JavaScript/ ExpressJS / Gitlab/GitHub.

Must be fluent in TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, NoSQL Database (Couch, Mongo), Writing Unit Tests/ TDD

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, elastic is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Build, maintain, document, and evolve REST APIs, modules and packages.

Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of Scaled Agile Delivery environment.

Collaborate with team members, architecture, QE Teams to develop systems to adhere to specs and frameworks.

Client Update on Requirement:

Remote candidate on EST time preferably.

•      Not seeking a front-end developer – no angular type candidates or html is not necessary!

•      Seeking an API back-end developer!

•      Writes only services.

•      Proficient in REST API, use NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript preferred, Express JSS, REDIF and Kafka.

•      Server main Database currently using is Couch. This team does use SQL.

•      Hosted on Docker and Kubernetes preferred

•      Self-starter 3-4 yrs. exp with swager ( should be able to read and convert into code), sequence diagrams, develop code based on, then unit testing. Then hands over the end points to QE to test.

•   Collaborate with several teams to discuss ideas. Works with solution architects and scrum team.

•   Gitlab use for source control and team still has older items in GitHub but transitioning to GitLab.

•    Being a team player is more important to the HM than if a Rockstar candidate.

•    Will be part of a Scrum team under a team lead. All work is peer and supervisor reviewed for this candidate.

•      Smaller company exp is fine but prefers someone who has worked in a team. Exp reviewing work by others on their team and used to their peers reviewing their work.
