Job Description: 

Overseeing HR Staff and Operations

  • Leadership and Team Management: The Senior HR Manager leads a team of HR professionals, guiding them in areas like recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance. They ensure that the team works cohesively to meet organizational goals.

Strategic HR Planning and Implementation

  • HR Strategy Development: Collaborates with senior leadership to develop HR strategies that align with business objectives. This can include workforce planning, organizational design, and the development of policies that promote a positive organizational culture.

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Ensures that the organization attracts top talent by refining recruitment processes, conducting interviews for key roles, and collaborating with department heads to understand staffing needs.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Oversees employee onboarding processes to ensure that new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization and receive the training they need to succeed.
  • Performance Management: Implements performance review systems, including feedback loops, to ensure continuous employee development. This includes goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processes.
  • Employee Relations: Manages complex employee relations issues such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Ensures a positive work environment and addresses any HR-related concerns raised by employees.

Succession Planning and Talent Development

  • Succession Planning: Identifies key roles and potential successors within the organization, ensuring the development of high-potential employees for future leadership positions. This includes developing career paths and leadership development programs.
  • Training and Development: Designs and oversees training programs aimed at skill development and leadership growth. This ensures employees are equipped with the skills needed to perform their roles and progress in their careers.

Employee Engagement and Retention

  • Employee Engagement: Develops and implements initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture, improve employee morale, and increase engagement. This might include surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs.
  • Retention Strategies: Works on retention strategies to reduce turnover, which may include competitive compensation packages, career development opportunities, work-life balance initiatives, and succession planning.

Compensation and Benefits Management

  • Compensation Strategy: Ensures that the organization's compensation and benefits packages are competitive and align with industry standards. This includes salary reviews, bonuses, and incentive programs.

HR Metrics and Analytics

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses HR data and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) like employee turnover, recruitment efficiency, and training effectiveness. This data helps inform strategic decisions related to workforce management.
  • Reporting: Provides regular reports to senior leadership on the status of HR initiatives, employee satisfaction, recruitment performance, and other relevant metrics.
