CloudOPs Architecture

Responsibilities:

•     Drive and ensure industry best practices are being adopted in our Cloud (AWS) Infrastructure, covering cloud design architecture, network, gateway services, VPCs, firewall, etc

•     Extensive design and delivery across DevOps and SRE functions 

•     Serve as a leader and mentor for a team of engineers with a primary focus on automation

•     Work together with the team to set long-term direction, roadmaps, and standards for our cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, observability, security, and cost

•     Enable development teams to perform self-service on our Cloud infrastructure

•     An active member of our Architecture CoE team, providing thought leadership to our engineering teams

•     Maintain an active community of practice(CoP) to improve the skills and knowledge of engineering teams on Cloud Architectures 

Job Requirements:

•     At least 2 years of managing a Cloud Infrastructure team

•     At least 5 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure, especially AWS Cloud services

•     Possesses a DevOps culture mindset

•     Familiar with using and applying GitOps

•     Experienced in using Terraform integrated into a CI/CD pipeline (Terraform, Bitbucket, GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible)

•     Solid understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure technologies, specifically on EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, VPC & RDS

•     Has experience with setting up and managing AWS multi-account setups

•     Experienced in setting up and driving CoPs/Guilds

•     Experienced in Deployment strategies - Blue / Green, Canary deployments
