Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated OT Nurse to join our team at Shree Giriraj Multispeciality Hospital. As an OT Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and assistance to patients in the Operation Theatre. This is a full-time position located in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in OT nursing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid nursing license or certification
• 1-3 years of experience in OT nursing (junior level)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of general surgery procedures
• Ability to provide quality patient care with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Knowledge of operation theatre protocols and sterile techniques

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the operation theatre for surgeries and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available
• Help in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
• Monitor patients during surgery and assist the surgical team as required
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
• Ensure proper documentation of patient records and surgical procedures
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the operation theatre
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients' recovery progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the quality of services
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
