Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated CSSD Technician to join our team at Shree Giriraj Multispeciality Hospital in Rajkot. This is a junior-level, full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience. The CSSD Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the sterilization of medical equipment and maintaining the highest standards of infection control within the hospital.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cleaning, packaging, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment using autoclaves and other sterilization techniques.
• Monitor and log all sterilization processes to ensure compliance with hospital and industry standards.
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of sterile supplies and ensure timely availability.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of sterilization equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with medical teams to understand and meet their equipment sterilization needs.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
• Assist in training new staff on sterilization processes and safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance the department's efficiency and service quality.
