Job Description - Franchise Field Sales


Job Summary:

The Franchise Field Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential franchisees, promoting the franchise model, and assisting with the expansion of the franchise network. The candidate will engage in direct sales efforts, manage lead generation activities, and build relationships with prospective franchise partners. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the franchise or logistics industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Identify and develop leads through field visits. Target individuals and businesses interested in owning and operating franchise units.
  • Franchise Sales:
  • Present the franchise opportunity to potential franchisees, outlining the benefits, operational details, and financial aspects of owning a franchise. Conduct site visits, presentations, and negotiations with prospective franchisees.
  • Market Research, Clustering and Catchment Area mapping:
  • Conduct market research to identify untapped territories and potential franchise markets. Develop strategies for effective market penetration within assigned areas.
  • Sales Targets and Performance:
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Report daily sales activities, including lead generation, follow-up progress, and deal closures, to the management team.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing franchise partners to ensure long-term success. Provide them with support during the franchise acquisition process.
  • Onboarding and Support:
  • Assist new franchisees through the onboarding process, including contract negotiation, legal documentation, and operational setup. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition for new franchise owners.
  • Franchise Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials and campaigns aimed at attracting franchisees. Attend franchise events, expos, and trade shows to promote the franchise model.
  • Field Visits:
  • Travel extensively within assigned territories to meet with prospects and assess franchise opportunities. Conduct regular field visits to evaluate potential sites for franchise expansion.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 1-4 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in franchise sales, business development, or the logistics industry.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.
  • Additional:
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • High level of self-motivation, persistence, and entrepreneurial spirit.
