Job Profile: Software Engineer – Backend

What we are looking for:

Must have:

• Proficient in backend or full-stack development with JavaScript / on the back end.
• Expert in relational databases and SQL. Experience in at least one of the following is must: MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server
• 4-5 years of industry experience in Software development
• Experience with RESTful Services, APIs, and integrations with external systems.
• Experience developing applications in public cloud, preferably in AWS.
• Must have used tools for software development as an advance user. List of such tools include source code repository, code review, test case management, issue (bug) management, and documentation
• Strong experience working in an Agile environment and understanding of the SCRUM process
• A Bachelor or a master degree such as BE / ME / MTech / MCA / MSc

Job Description:

• Be part of a SaaS platform development team.
• Understand product requirements and prepare design documents for translating those into software applications.
• Design front-end and back-end software components, identify and define interfaces.
• Define and implement deployment architecture.
• Write highly maintainable performant code for new features with unit tests, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Focus on customer experience - focusing on the customer as much as the code.
• Participate in production deployment, troubleshooting production issues.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, demo, and team meetings.

Good to have:

• CICD (Continuous integration & continuous deployment) experience
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience in AIML based application development is a plus
