Position: Team Lead- Software Development

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow Servilink project execution life cycle and maintain all documentation including technical, quality documents
• Act as primary interface with customer for entire scope of the project for software related activities.
• Support Project Manager for all technical aspects of project as well as support in various project activities such as scope review, kick off meeting, resource planning, engineering planning, procurement support, schedule planning, quality control, monitoring and controlling of project, customer handling, risk monitoring & control, change management, performance reporting, progress reporting, closeout
• Review sales transfer technical documents, attend KOM and Ex-KOM with customer, understand various deliverable and assign project engineer to take care of that project.
• Analyse customer inputs and understand requirements such as Design Specifications, P&IDs, Control Narratives/interlock list/cause & Effect Diagrams, IO list, Instrument Index, Operating Philosophies etc.
• Raise Technical Queries
• Understand technical capabilities of team members and assign project as per their competency matrix, motivate them to take charge of projects and act as a SPOC for their need of resources, provide them with proper training. Plan for skill enhancement activities.
• Handle team of SW/HW Engineers working on project. Mentor, monitor and manage software development team. Reporting of Software development planning sheet with engineering head and discuss about challenges and requirements.
• Keep track records of projects and raise concerns whenever required. All tasks should align and synchronize with project requirements and at the same time customer requirements need to be fullfill.
• Verify compliance to project’s requirement
• Develop/review System Architecture for entire ICSS (Integrated Control & Safety System)
• Develop HW FAT plan
• Develop HW-SW Integration plan
• Perform Integrated testing between SW & HW
• Perform FAT with customer

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Knowledge of Rockwell DCS/PLC logic/graphic development & testing
• Knowledge of Function Block Diagram, Sequential Flow chart, Ladder Logic, Structure text, Phase manager
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC hardware, Instruments, Process knowledge and knowhow of various industries.
• Knowledge of various switchgears, MCC and IMCC panels.
• Well versed with SQL based Reporting Software.
• Basic understanding of Field devices connected to system (valves, motors, analysers, various field instruments etc.)
• Conduct root cause analysis (provide solutions/options)
• Good hands on MS Office knowledge specifically, Ms Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, Project etc.
• Should be able to work in multi-cultural virtual environment
