Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Store Keeper to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The Store Keeper will play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system, ensuring that materials and tools are readily available for our projects. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management processes, as well as the ability to track various types of construction materials, equipment, and supplies. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers and site supervisors to assess material needs, manage supply levels, and ensure that all items are accounted for and stored safely. Attention to detail is critical, as the Store Keeper will be responsible for maintaining records, documenting stock movements, and conducting regular audits. Effective communication skills are essential, as the Store Keeper will liaise with suppliers and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials. This role also includes maintaining a clean and orderly storage area, promoting safety, and adhering to industry regulations. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with project managers to identify and forecast material needs.
  • Receive deliveries, verify contents, and ensure proper storage.
  • Implement and maintain an organized storage system for quick access to materials.
  • Document all stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist in preparing reports on inventory usage and supply needs.

Requirements

  • ITI / diploma /PUC or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the construction sector.
