Job Overview
We are seeking a highly-skilled Plants Supervisor to oversee the operations and maintenance of our water treatment plants. This is a Junior- Mid level position requiring 2 to 4 years of experience. As a Plants Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the treatment plants, managing a team of operators, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The position is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India and is a full-time role.
Qualifications and Skills
• BE - Civil/Environmental/Public Health - With minimum 2-4 Years of experience in water treatment /waste water Treatment plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and technologies
• Experience in managing a team of operators
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Skilled multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of operational efficiency and best practices
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills
• Experience in plant operation and maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Roles and Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operations of the water treatment plants
• Manage, train, and supervise a team of operators
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Implement and maintain operational procedures and standard operating practices
• Monitor and analyze plant performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes
• Coordinate with maintenance team to ensure the availability and reliability of plant equipment
• Prepare reports and documentation, including plant performance reports, maintenance records, and incident reports
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and procurement, to ensure smooth plant operations
