Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with knowledge and practical exposure to treatment systems, process design and engineering, detailing of chemical processes related to STP/ETP/WTP field. The successful candidate should have exposure to developing process calculations, estimations, and P&ID developments.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

•       Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

•       0 - 3 years of experience in process detailing in the STP/ETP/WTP field. Freshers with relevant academic exposure may also apply.

•       Proficiency in developing process calculations, estimations, and P&ID developments using knowledge of treatment process design and engineering basics and principles.

•       Exposure to designing, operating, and maintaining STP and ETP systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as environmental laws and permits.

•       Strong understanding of chemical reactions, material properties and processing, and treatment processes.

•       Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess and optimize treatment processes.

•       Experience with AutoCAD and relevant engineering software and project management software/tools.

•       Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical ideas and concepts.

•       Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.

•       Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

Roles & Responsibilities

•       This is a full-time on-site role as a Chemical Engineer at Sepcon Systems Pvt. Ltd., located in Bengaluru. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be involved in designing, detailing, estimating and engineering of Water Treatment Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants, Effluent Treatment Plants(ETPs), Piping Networks and other water infrastructure projects in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

•       Involved in preparation of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for the treatment systems.

•       Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability of various treatment processes and propose optimized solutions.

•       Submission of techno-commercial proposals, market surveys, and related business activities.

•       Troubleshooting of treatment systems and assist on-site times with maintenance procedures.

•       Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, designers, and technicians to ensure successful project execution, compliance with regulatory standards, optimize treatment processes, and identify areas for improvement in plant operations.

•       Conduct on-site visits and inspections to monitor the performance of treatment systems and provide technical support and recommendations for improvements.

•       Stay updated with the latest advancements in treatment process design and engineering and incorporate relevant technologies and innovations into project designs.
