Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer with knowledge and practical experience in treatment process design and engineering detailing of chemical processes related to STP/ETP/WTP field. The successful candidate should have exposure to developing process calculations, estimations, and P&ID developments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in process detailing for chemical processes in the STP/ETP/WTP field.

• Proficiency in developing process calculations, estimations, and P&ID developments.

• Strong knowledge of treatment process design and engineering principles.

• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to water and wastewater treatment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to assess and optimize treatment processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate technical ideas and concepts.

• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

• Experience with CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and engineer treatment processes for sewage treatment plants (STP), effluent treatment plants (ETP), and water treatment plants (WTP) based on client requirements and project specifications.

• Develop detailed process calculations, estimations, and engineering designs for chemical processes in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

• Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) for the treatment systems.

• Perform technical analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability of various treatment processes and propose optimized solutions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers, designers, and technicians to ensure successful project execution.

• Conduct on-site visits and inspections to monitor the performance of treatment systems and provide technical support and recommendations for improvements.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in treatment process design and engineering and incorporate relevant technologies and innovations into project designs.

• Adhere to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
