An ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager is required to help us expand our client base.As the face of the company, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective sales strategy.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals and actively engaging in ground-level business development activities. You will be primarily responsible for generating revenue by signing up for our services. This role requires a combination of strategic leadership, team management, and hands-on involvement in the field.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership:Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Conduct regular team meetings, set performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Business Development:Create and implement a comprehensive business development strategy in order to acquire new clients for the development of an e-commerce seller account management, Website development & Social media Marketing.
Personally engage in ground-level activities, including client meetings, and networking events.
Sales Management:Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closure, ensuring a consistent and effective sales process.
Track team performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to achieve and exceed targets.
Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Collaborate with the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Market Research:Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Use market insights to adapt and refine sales strategies.
Collaboration with Marketing:Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and initiatives.
Provide input on marketing strategies based on field experience and client feedback.
Qualifications:
- Any degree or without a degree or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and team management within the edu-tech industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in ground-level activities.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding team sales targets.
