The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies. 

Requirement

•  Identifying the need to purchase products.
• Planning and executing cost-effective purchasing strategies.
• Forecasting the demands of products and materials.
• Researching the vendors, nationally & internationally those are selling the best products at competitive prices. 
• Negotiating with vendors to arrive at affordable pricing.
• Should have a sound knowledge of import & custom clearance.
• Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers.
• Coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Keeping a record of all purchased items and vendors.
• Monitoring the stock levels.
• Presenting inventory reports to higher management.
• Supervising the inventory staff.
• Staying updated with the latest market trends.

Desired Skill Set

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
• Proven 5+years of experience working in the Purchasing Department as a Purchase Manager or a relevant role. 
• Having sound knowledge of import documentation and custom clearance is a must.
• Should have the knowledge of sourcing international vendors.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
